Washing Machine malfunctions and spreads water everywhere
If was a normal day for this Fort Mill homeowner. She was doing laundry and household cleaning. The next thing she knew water was dripping from the ceiling. She ran upstairs and noticed that the carpet was wet and went straight to the laundry room and shut the washer off. Knowing that the area affected was so large she called her insurance company to file a claim and called us soon after to do the cleanup. These types of water damage claims seem to be the most common. Be sure to check your fittings and water lines going to your machine often. The flood in her home was worse due to the laundry room was on the second floor and a lot of the water ran down to the main level.
