A Flooded Crawlspace Needs Cleaned Up Quick Before More Damage Occurs
A water line going from a crawlspace to inside the home had a leak over the weekend. This Tega Cay home was lucky as all the water ran into the crawlspace. The steam from the hot water did get the isulation wet and some of it had already fallen down due to the amount of moisture it had absorbed.
We had to remove nost of the crawlspace insulation to get the subfloor and joists exsposed so they may dry properly.
After the drying was complete we installed new insulation and a new vapor barrior as well.
